一、 Overview:

Its advantages are mainly highlighted when the vacuum system being tested cannot be pre-pumped at the junction of high vacuum and low vacuum (0.001Pa-----10Pa), due to its built-in voltage stabilization function, it can be measured The data is also accurate, the McGregor vacuum gauge without voltage stabilizing device generally must perform a high vacuum exhaust treatment on the vacuum gauge in advance when measuring vacuum; mainly in the following four aspects:
 
1. The test solution of the vacuum gauge mercury can be locked and sealed, unlike the German made side or upside down Mercury will roll out and can not be used. We can seal the mercury in the storage chamber of the vacuum meter when it is not in use, or when it is carried or sent away by express delivery.
 
2. It abandons the crude vacuum measuring device of U-type vacuum gauge. Engineers who have used the U-type vacuum gauge know that when the pumping speed of the U-type vacuum gauge is too fast, it is easy to produce bubbles into the blind tube and cause measurement inaccuracy, and it is also very troublesome to maintain and clean it. We just add a capillary tube of the same thickness to the right side of the vacuum gauge measuring tube, using the design of Maxwell vacuum gauge Meter theory - no calibration method is easy to solve the more troublesome problem, and now the measurement range of crude vacuum is also expanded.
 
3. At present, PM-1 McGregor vacuum gauge has two fixed ways. In addition to the original tripod form, it can also use three leg support rod to place the table top.
 
4. In the top of the measuring tube, a supporting device is added, which seems simple, but it plays a strong supporting role for the shock protection of the vacuum gauge measuring tube.
 
二、Installation and operation method of vacuum gauge:
 
1. If it is supported by three legs, please tighten the three supporting rods one by one on the cavity of the vacuum gauge; if it is fixed by a triangular base frame, it can be fixed with M8 metric screws, and the nut is used to strengthen the fixing effect.
 
2. On the premise that the vacuum gauge is relatively vertical to the horizontal plane, first use a cross screwdriver to loosen the plugging screw in the center of the hand wheel, and then use a slotted screwdriver to loosen the thimble which blocks the mercury inside, and then return to the position about 8mm away from the opening, because the Mercury will flow out from the inside after 3mm from the opening; therefore, when the vacuum degree is 0.05mbar, as long as the mercury can reach the scale plate 6 ~ 8mm above the "0" position on the top is OK. If it cannot be reached, continue to withdraw the thimble for several millimeters to ensure enough mercury usage.
 
3. If necessary, the vacuum clamp can be used to connect the vacuum gauge and the exhaust pipe.
 
4. Start the vacuum pump, let the equipment enter the vacuum pumping state, and then slowly open the valve on the vacuum gauge. After about 5 ~ 10 minutes, mercury injection test can be done on the vacuum gauge. When reading, shake the mercury in the left comparison open tube to the "0" position line, and then look at the corresponding height value of water and silver in the two measuring tubes on the right. The readings of 0.1 ~ 1.5kpa overlap. Please follow the middle reading as follows Yes, the reading on the right side is the rough vacuum reading. After reading, the mercury must be shaken down into the mercury storage chamber of the vacuum gauge or until it is invisible to the eyes. The less gas molecules in the container, the higher the vacuum, the smaller the vacuum reading.
 
三、Maintenance and maintenance
 
1. Ask the operator to operate in strict accordance with the operating method of the vacuum gauge, and handle it gently to avoid large vibration.
 
2. After each test, the valve of the vacuum gauge must be closed first, and then the vacuum exhaust pipe must be removed to prevent the turbid gas from being sucked into the vacuum gauge and causing pollution.
 
3. According to the national verification requirements, the calibration cycle of the true space meter is one year. On the way, due to the high use frequency of users or the chemical reaction of mercury and dust pollution caused by the gas during the measurement, it may be necessary to send it for maintenance within half a year.
