Multimodal continuous vacuum furnace is an important industrial heating equipment developed in the 1940s. It is widely used in the oxidation-free bright annealing of active metals such as titanium, zirconium, tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, refractory metals and their alloys, aluminum foil, electrical pure iron, soft magnetic alloy, copper tube strip and other metal materials; bright quenching of high-speed tool steel and die steel; stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, copper, copper, etc. Vacuum brazing without flux between the same or different materials of cemented carbide, superalloy and ceramics; vacuum sintering of powder metallurgical materials such as cemented carbide and rare earth permanent magnet materials such as NdFeB; vacuum exhaust and sealing of electronic tubes, vacuum switches, stainless steel insulating containers, etc. In the aviation, aerospace, ship, vehicle, machinery, electronics, petrochemical, tools, materials, household appliances and other industries are playing an increasingly important role.


At present, the vacuum furnaces used in the above industries in our country are basically single-chamber or double-chamber batch vacuum furnaces. Their disadvantages are low efficiency, high energy consumption, high cost, low output and unsuitable for mass production. In order to overcome the above shortcomings of batch vacuum furnace and meet the needs of mass production in modern industry, on the basis of many years'development of single-chamber and double-chamber batch vacuum furnace, the author tackles the key technical problems of continuous vacuum furnace, develops independently and designs carefully, and successfully develops multi-chamber continuous vacuum furnace.
