Working Conditions of Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump
The vacuum tower of a new 8.0Mt/a atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit in the refinery of China Petrochemical Co. Ltd. adopts three-stage vacuum pumping design. The first and second stages are high efficiency jet steam pumps and the third stage are liquid ring vacuum pumps. In order to reduce the influence of power grid fluctuation on the operation of the unit, a set of jet steam pumps are also connected in parallel as standby vacuum pumping facilities. The device was completed and put into operation in June 2007. The vacuum at the top of the vacuum tower was kept below 1.6KPa, and the operation was stable.
