2BV series oil ring vacuum pump structure and characteristics :
2BV series oil-ring vacuum pump is based on 2BA series water-ring vacuum pump. The working fluid is changed from original water to transformer oil. The period limit vacuum degree can be increased to below 6.7 mbar or even 1.3 mbar due to oil saturation and low vapor pressure. The water ring vacuum pump can only reach an absolute pressure of 33 mbar because of its high water saturation and vapor pressure. The working fluid of 2BA series oil ring vacuum pumps can also use water or other liquids when pumping out polluted gases and in some special working occasions. Because the pump is a closed-circuit circulating system, the pollution to the environment is greatly reduced, and its limit vacuum degree is determined by the saturated vapor pressure of the working fluid.
Oil ring vacuum pump is widely used in evaporation crystallization, drying and filtration of oil refining, pigments, plastics, soap, food, sugar making, pharmaceuticals, concrete operation in construction, vacuum degassing in metallurgical industry, etc. Because of its compact structure, small maintenance, reliable operation and high efficiency, it can replace W, WY, W1 series reciprocating vacuum pumps in many occasions.
As shown in the figure, the pumped gas is pumped by 2BA oil ring pump and discharged into the oil-gas separator. The oil and gas are separated in the oil-gas separator. The gas discharged from the exhaust port is collected in the oil tank and cooled, then inhaled by the oil ring pump from the inlet of the working fluid and recycled. Pump oil temperature rise is due to the heat generated by the pumped gas and the heat generated by the oil ring pump itself.
Oil-ring vacuum pump can work at 20-90 ~C, and its performance is basically unchanged (the performance of water-ring pump will be greatly reduced when the water temperature exceeds 50 ~C). Because of the high oil temperature and the inappropriate condensation of water vapor, the pump oil should not be emulsified, thus improving the service life of the pump oil.
