In the current experiment, you often use vacuum sintering furnace. I think many people are very clear about the use of vacuum sintering furnace. Its main purpose is to sinter powder metallurgy products, metal injection molding products, stainless steel base, cemented carbide, superalloy, high specific gravity alloy, ceramic materials, magnetic materials, neodymium iron boron, etc.


But when choosing vacuum furnace, do you know how to choose the best one?


In terms of temperature differentiation, there are common ones, that is, those with temperature below 1200 ℃, those with medium temperature between 1200-1600 ℃, and those with high temperature above 1700 ℃. Also like to divide according to the vacuum degree, can be divided into low vacuum, high vacuum and ultra-high vacuum sintering furnace.

Selection of heat shield: the heat shield is the main part of the heating chamber of vacuum sintering furnace. Its main function is heat insulation, heat preservation and reduction of heat loss. It is also the structural foundation of fixed heater. Therefore, the structure and material selection of the heat shield have a great influence on the power and performance of the vacuum furnace (such as vacuum degree, outgassing rate, etc.). The heat shield is basically divided into metal heat shield and non-metal heat shield. Its structure includes all metal heat shield, sandwich heat shield, graphite felt heat shield and mixed felt heat shield. The selection of heat shield is mainly determined by sintering temperature, physical and chemical characteristics of products and vacuum degree requirements.


Selection of vacuum system: there are several commonly used vacuum configurations in our company, the first is low vacuum configuration, which is configured as mechanical pump (rotary vane pump or slide valve pump); the second is medium vacuum configuration, which is configured with combination of roots pump and mechanical pump (rotary vane pump or slide valve pump); the third is high vacuum configuration, which is generally configured as diffusion pump + roots pump + mechanical pump (rotary vane pump or slide valve pump); and Four kinds are turbine molecular pump + roots pump + mechanical pump (vane pump or slide valve pump). The selection of vacuum system is mainly based on the working vacuum.


Selection of cooling system: the cooling mode of vacuum furnace designed and manufactured by our company can be divided into natural cooling and forced cooling, and forced cooling can be divided into internal circulation cooling and external circulation cooling. The charging medium is generally high-purity nitrogen or argon.
