Characteristics and types of vacuum valves: the basic characteristics of vacuum valves are high airtightness (sealing reliable); resistance to gas flow as small as possible (that is, the flow of the valve as large as possible); sealing parts wear well, can be used repeatedly, long life; valve body materials and sealing parts of small gas release;

Glass vacuum piston, also known as "coke", is generally used in glass vacuum system, small vacuum devices, vacuum gauge or calibration system.
The utility model has the advantages of easy fabrication, convenient use, easy cleaning and observation, good chemical stability, good insulation, less gas discharge, etc. The shortcomings are the brittleness of the glass and the grease coating on the piston bend, which limits its use.
Metal valves are used in vacuum equipment for industrial production, such as vacuum coating equipment, vacuum smelting equipment, vacuum heat treatment equipment, space environment simulation equipment, rocket engine simulation equipment, satellite surface charged simulation equipment, particle accelerator and controlled nuclear fusion equipment, heavy particle accelerator, etc.
Vacuum valves are usually classified according to their working characteristics, transmission principles, connection modes and uses.
Vacuum valve classification:
1. According to the working pressure: there are low vacuum valves, high vacuum valves and ultra high vacuum valves.
2. according to the use: there are globe valves, isolation valves, charging (discharging) valve, throttle valve +, reversing valve, closed feeding valve, etc.
3. According to the transmission principle: there are manual valve, flashlight dual-purpose valve, solenoid valve, pneumatic valve, hydraulic vacuum valve;
Four. According to the material: there are glass vacuum piston (cock) and metal vacuum valve.
4. according to the structural characteristics: baffle valve, flap valve, butterfly valve, ball valve, connecting rod valve, diaphragm valve, gate valve, double-way valve, three-way valve, four-way valve, through valve, right-angle valve and so on.
