Introduction of sintering furnace

The sintering furnace is a kind of furnace which makes the solid particles of the ceramic blank bond with each other at high temperature, the grain growth, the void (porosity) and grain boundary decrease gradually, and through the transfer of materials, its overall volume shrinks and density increases, and finally becomes a kind of dense polycrystalline sintered body with a certain microstructure.

 

The principle of sintering furnace

Cemented carbide sintering principle: bonding phase, mainly metal (Co, Ni), also known as metal ceramic materials, and ceramic phase (TiC, TaC, NbC) as the basis, temperature is higher than bonding phase and integrated to achieve this process called sintering process.

 

Purpose of sintering furnace

The sintering furnace is mainly used for the sintering of ceramic powder, ceramic core and other zirconia ceramics, diamond saw blades, as well as heat treatment of copper and steel strip annealing.

 

The sintering furnace can also be used for high-temperature sintering and heat treatment of similar products such as thick film circuits, thick film resistances, electronic component electrodes, LTCC, steel heaters and solar panels.

Sintering furnaces are mainly used in steel industry, metallurgy industry and new material industry.

Type of sintering furnace

The sintering furnaces in the industrial field cover most of the high-temperature polycrystalline silicon ingot casting furnaces in the market. According to the industry, the types of sintering furnaces are mainly:

 

1. Cemented carbide field:

Vacuum sintering furnace, low pressure (60bar) sintering furnace, vacuum degrease sintering furnace, low pressure degrease sintering furnace, low pressure degrease sintering gas quenching furnace (20bar);

 

2. Powder metallurgy field:

Continuous mesh belt sintering furnace (1150 degrees), push rod sintering furnace (1250 degrees), steel belt sintering furnace (1000 degrees), rotary sintering furnace, etc.

 

3. Solar energy:

Polycrystalline silicon ingot furnace is also a kind of sintering furnace.
