Vacuum High Pressure Gas cooled Quenching Technology
Vacuum furnaces in China have developed rapidly and four technological innovations have taken place: negative pressure high flow rate gas cooling, pressurized gas cooling, high pressure gas cooling and ultra-high pressure gas cooling. Through continuous technological innovation, the pressure of vacuum furnace is increasing, and the level of vacuum gas-cooled quenching of vacuum furnace is continuously improved. Through the action of high pressure, the product has smooth surface, good stability and is not easy to deform. The use of high pressure also has the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving and no pollution.
The main function of vacuum high pressure air-cooled quenching is to quench and temper materials. It can be used for solid solution of stainless steel and other alloys to realize the functions of ion nitriding and carbonitriding.
When air-cooled quenching is carried out by high pressure air-cooling technology, the cooling load must be loose and not too tight, so that high-speed steel can be hardened to the range of 70-100 mm, and high-alloy hot-working die steel can be hardened to the range of 25-100 mm.
When air-cooled quenching is carried out with ultra-high pressure air-cooling technology, the cooling load can be dense or loose. The load density is 30%-4O% higher than that of high pressure air-cooling technology, 50%-60% higher than that of pressurized air-cooling technology, and 70%-80% higher than that of negative pressure high flow rate air-cooling technology. So after these technological innovations, great changes have taken place in the capacity of vacuum high-pressure air-cooled quenching in China. At present, the pressure of vacuum high-pressure air-cooled quenching technology in China has reached 20*105Pa, and the cooling load can be bundled together. This pressure is 90%-150% higher than the first negative pressure and high flow rate air-cooled technology, and the range of materials that can be cooled is increased. High-speed steel, high-alloy steel and hot working die steel can be cooled.
