Rotary vane vacuum pump speed

We always hope to improve the geometric pumping speed of the vacuum pump as much as possible without increasing the total size of the rotary vane vacuum pump. It can be seen from the previous calculation that the following ways are available:


1. Decrease b: select the smaller b to obtain the larger K, so as to increase the pumping speed. But if b is chosen too small, it will inevitably increase vibration and noise. So it's actually hard to do.


2. Increase speed (n) : the speed of rotation is greatly increased, which can greatly increase the geometric pumping speed. On the contrary, if the required pumping speed is fixed, the increase of rotating speed will reduce the geometric size of the pump. A direct pump is one example.


3. Increase the number of spinning plates: although increasing z does not increase the pumping speed in a proportional way as increasing n, it also has unique advantages, that is, when adopting the direct connection structure, the rotating speed has reached a certain high value, and increasing the spinning plates can improve the pumping speed without reducing b value or increasing the maximum linear speed. It can reduce vibration and increase the ultimate vacuum degree.

It is also simple to increase the number of spindles in the structure, so it is a promising way to increase the geometrical extraction speed. Of course, the use of multi-rotation will increase friction pairs. Measures must therefore be taken to better cool the pump.


Therefore, the high - speed direct - coupling and multi - rotary vane type should be the development direction of rotary vane pump. It is also possible to implement polyspins. The key lies in the reform of the spinning material: increase the hardness of the spinning piece and the pump chamber, realize the hard friction pair, to adapt to the high speed of rotating speed, adopt the especially wear-resistant soft spinning material, such as reinforced carbon fiber plastic, graphite-permeated nylon, fire-cloth bakelite, etc., as well as the previously mentioned carbon body material. The latter is easy to implement multi - spindles and can also save the spring under the spindles. Because the centrifugal force of the rotating disc is enough to keep the rotor in contact with the stator all the time, the spring is usually adopted to prevent the cylinder from being driven at the moment of starting. Even if the cylinder is driven by soft rotary disc material, there will be no big noise, and it is only the moment of starting.



In the maintenance, the existing rotary vane vacuum pump, in order to improve its pumping speed, can also be re-made rotor and rotary vane, improved by the above method.
