Corrosion resistant chemical pumps are commonly used in industrial production. What are the reasons for the noise and the methods to reduce the noise after the selection and installation? The noise of water pump is mainly the aerodynamic noise produced in the process of gas / liquid transportation, the structural noise of motor casing excited by vibration, the noise of engine base caused by vibration, and the noise of motor.
This kind of noise level peak mainly concentrated in the low octave band, about 100-450 Hz range. The sound source belongs to steady state noise when the pump room is in normal operation. Pipeline noise refers to the noise generated by the flow of water in the pipeline. In addition, the cavitation phenomenon and water hammer phenomenon can also produce instantaneous noise. The noise produced by water supply pipeline is affected by flow velocity and pressure.
The noise produced by the whole set of facilities in the pump house is mainly mechanical noise. At present, the method of noise control in acoustic principle is to control the transmission way of noise, mainly including sound insulation, sound absorption, noise elimination, etc. Sound insulation is the use of sound insulation structure to separate the sound source from the sound receiving point; sound absorption is the use of sound absorption structure or sound absorption materials to reduce noise; noise elimination is the use of impedance, resistance, porous diffusion and other principles to reduce the noise value.
Noise control measures should be based on the acoustic principle and make full use of the site environment and conditions. For example:
1. Control the noise generated by machine equipment and equipment parts. The pump foundation of the newly built pump house should be of large weight to prevent vibration and noise. In addition, rubber vibration isolation pad shall be set for vibration isolation, so as to reduce vibration noise; each pump unit shall be set with separate foundation to prevent resonance. The "soft" connection should be adopted as far as possible on the suction and pressure pipes of the water pump. Regular maintenance, such as packing leakage, loose equipment parts, serious wear of equipment parts, mechanical vibration, etc., should be repaired in time, so as to reduce noise.
2. According to the environment of the pump room, the sound insulation treatment should be carried out for the pump room which is not tightly sealed with sound source, the room with noise generated in the pump room should be treated with sound absorption / sound insulation, and the doors and windows should also be treated with sound insulation.
Due to different manufacturers and types of pumps, the working principle and structure will be different, so it is very important to investigate and analyze the noise source on site for the design of sound insulation and noise reduction scheme and the selection of materials.
