High Temperature Vacuum Atmosphere Furnace

1. Workpiece truck must be cleaned and dried before it enters the furnace to prevent water and dirt from entering the furnace.


2. When each transmission part finds clamp position, inaccurate limit, control failure and other phenomena, it should be eliminated immediately, and not be forced to operate, so as to avoid damage to the machine parts.


3. High-temperature vacuum furnace should not be overloaded. The maximum operating temperature of high-temperature vacuum furnace refers to the allowable surface temperature of components in vacuum, not the temperature of heating materials or the temperature around heating elements. It should be noted that the temperature of the vacuum electrothermal element itself is 100 C higher than that of the surrounding medium or the heated temperature.


4. When measuring the temperature uniformity of high temperature vacuum furnace, attention should be paid to the location and binding of temperature measuring contacts, as well as the distance from heating elements. In high temperature vacuum furnace, brushes, brooms, compressed air and vacuum cleaners are often used to clean the furnace (at least every day or before each shift is used). Impurities such as oxide scales in the furnace should be prevented from falling on the electric heating elements, short circuit occurring, and even burning molybdenum heating rods. The bottom plate, molybdenum heating rod, furnace insulation layer and other heat-resistant steel components should be cleaned up every time they are used for a period of time. Striking is strictly prohibited, and the oxide scales can be carefully removed. If impurities such as iron oxide scale are not removed in time, there will be a fire between the melting point and the insulation layer, which will melt the molybdenum wire.


5. To avoid reactions between heating elements and products, especially contact with vacuum heating elements such as copper, aluminium, zinc, tin and lead, no matter fine powder, molten liquid or steam, to prevent corrosion on the surface of electric heater from forming "pits" with smaller cross-section, and finally overheating and burning.
6. After the furnace is heated in high temperature vacuum atmosphere, it can not destroy the vacuum system suddenly, let alone open the door of the furnace in high temperature vacuum atmosphere. Attention should be paid to closing the vacuum gauge switch to prevent the ageing of the vacuum gauge before charging into the atmosphere. When the temperature is higher than 400 C, it should not be cooled sharply. For the vacuum heating element, it is easy to cause oxidation when the temperature is high, the vacuum degree is not good and the temperature changes greatly. For molybdenum heating furnace, during normal operation and maintenance, it should be cooled below 200 (?) C before shutting down the protective nitrogen gas. The door of the furnace can be opened only below 80 C.


7. Cooling system is an important part of high temperature vacuum furnace. Cooling water should be kept clear, otherwise the water temperature will rise and cause shutdown. This is a problem often overlooked in the operation of high-temperature vacuum furnace, which may lead to significant destruction of high-temperature vacuum furnace when unmanned. The purpose of treating cooling water by chemical assistant method of biodegradation is to keep minerals in suspension state and reduce the accumulation of sediments in rubber pipes, snake pipes and water jackets so as to make the water flow smoothly. This is usually accomplished by an automatic device, which can monitor the conductivity of water, automatically supplement chemicals, flush the waterway and add fresh water. With the auxiliary steam filtration system, this method can also ensure the pH control of water and prevent the deposition of excess minerals in the cooling water system. After the system is stable, water quality tests should be conducted at least once a month to prevent overtreatment or inappropriate treatment. The test samples of high temperature vacuum furnace shell and heat exchanger material should also be placed in the water system, and the weight loss test should be done once a year to check the treatment effect. Special attention must be paid to the serpentine tube cooler of the diffusion pump. They should be checked regularly. If blocked, the diffuser pump will overheat and lose its function, and further cause the diffuser heater to burn down, resulting in expensive and time-consuming repair. When the serpentine cooling pipe is blocked, the water channel is disconnected from the water source, and the drainage is blown through with compressed air or washed with dilute acetic acid solution.
