Dry Screw Vacuum Pump in Various Industries Application

The single screw vacuum pump was first developed abroad in the early 1970s, and has been widely used in Russia, the United States, Canada, France and other countries. China started in this field only in the 1990s. Ground-driven single screw pumps are used to produce oil. At present, the vast majority of them still rely on imports. In China, only high viscosity crude oil accounts for more than 1/6 of the total reserves, and beam pumping system can be replaced in shallow, deep, low-yield, remote and heavy oilfields. Electric submersible single screw pump is another development trend of rodless oil recovery. Therefore, single screw pump oil recovery is a field with great development space and application value, and will produce good economic benefits.


Comparing the screw pump production system with the beam pumping plunger pump production system, the oil production increased by 6.4 times and the pump efficiency reached 76%-87%. Although the test shows that the single screw pump oil production system driven by surface hydraulic pressure is not convenient to use in the cold climate of northern China. However, the advantages of screw pump oil recovery still have high economic benefits, which is a new type of pumping equipment worthy of popularization and application.


Screw vacuum pump is widely used to transport milk, beer and some emulsifiable liquids due to its characteristics of non-agitation and small pulsation in the process of conveying medium. Because of this characteristic, it is also widely used in the oil-water separation device of wastewater treatment system, making the oil in wastewater not easy to emulsify, easier and cleaner to be separated, which is superior to the plunger pump currently used more. It must be pointed out that when used in food, medicine and other fields, pumps must comply with strict hygiene regulations. The stator must be made of non-toxic and odorless rubber. The parts in contact with the conveying medium should not be corroded. The flow passage in the inner space of the pump should be smooth. It can be washed clean without disassembly and drifting to ensure that there are no residues and bacteria in the pump. However, even if the non-toxic and odorless rubber stator is used, its abrasive debris will inevitably still be mixed into the medium of transportation, which is not suitable for the quality of food and medicine, from the point of view of environmental requirements.

Screw vacuum pump can realize Multiphase Transportation of liquid, gas and solid, which is impossible for most other pumps, so it has great significance. It can also be used as a metering pump with various chemical additives, and its metering accuracy is quite reliable, up to 98%. Compared with other types of pumps, screw vacuum pumps have strong self-priming ability. Usually, the suction height of medium water can reach 6m, and for some medium, it can reach 8.5m at some rotational speeds, which also widens its application field.


The screw vacuum pump is used late on the ship. The oil-water separator of the oil-pollution treatment system at the bottom of the cabin (flow rate is usually less than 10rri3/1i, discharge pressure is about 0.2MPa, rotate speed is generally about 200 r/min), sewage treatment device and waste incinerator system are used as conveyor pumps in the fecal incineration system. Most of them use micro single screw pumps (speed drop is 50-60r/min, flow rate is 1L/min, discharge pressure is about 0.2MPa, suction height is about 2m). These pumps have a long life because of their low speed. In addition, there are also used as residue pumps, bilge pumps, seawater pumps, deck flushing pumps and cargo oil pumps, which are usually used in low pressure and small flow conditions.
