Application of Vacuum Pump in Marine Operation Industry
Vacuum pumps/compressors have been used in key installations of commercial and military ships. Application of vacuum pump in marine operation industry: condenser exhaust, central vacuum pumping, marine low pressure air compressor, turbine sealed pipe exhaust.
Condenser exhaust includes the discharge of air and other non-condensable gases from the steam space of the condenser of power generation equipment. The purpose of discharging these gases is to keep the turbine back pressure as low as possible. In commercial shipping, these equipment are of vital importance.
Central vacuum pumping
In this kind of vacuum pump application, the vacuum pump is used to maintain the bottom pumping and transfer to the feed pump system, which can make the bottom drainage pump start quickly. In different applications, such as washing water and bilge sewage, water can be pumped through the same vacuum system with respective water injection valves. This can avoid cross-contamination.
Turbine Secret Seal Pipe Exhaust
Steam turbines are sealed with sealing tubes to avoid air leakage. These sealing tubes are sealed by steam. In order to achieve its design performance, vacuum pumps must be used to continuously extract excess steam and condensate.
