According to the sublimation principle, the product is heated completely frozen in the vacuum condition of drying chamber. Ice in the product turns directly into steam and does not melt in the process. The steam in the sealed chamber condenses through a steam condenser, and the temperature is much lower. As a result, the steam will soon frost and accumulate on the surface of the steam condenser. Moisture in the product is continuously moved to the vapor condenser, and the product is finally dried and the vapor condenser is filled with ice. At the end of the freeze-drying cycle, ice will be melted by water called defrosting.
