 Scope of application:

Gas-phase drying (VPD) device is mainly used for drying (vacuum) various high-voltage insulation products. It is used in transmission and distribution transformer industry, such as ultra-high voltage transformer (110kV~1100kV), power capacitor, high-voltage CT/PT, high-voltage bushing, power cable, etc.
Characteristic:
The working principle of VPD device is that kerosene is heated and evaporated in vacuum to become high temperature kerosene vapor. Kerosene vapor will be condensed when it comes into contact with products at lower temperatures, thereby releasing latent heat to heat the product. Collect the condensated kerosene (liquid) and return to the evaporator. Evaporate again and repeat the above steps several times. As a result, the temperature of the product keeps rising, the water in the product evaporates, and the water vapor is pumped out from the autoclave through the vacuum system to achieve complete drying.
The heat transfer efficiency of VPD device is higher than any other heating method, and its drying performance is very stable, which is the preferred choice for drying high-pressure insulation products at present.
